So yeah, I know a pretty fast way to train, without much effort.

First, take 2 Pokemon you want to train. Make sure they have their Effort Ribbon and know all their moves (or learn them after they hit Lv.100). Now put them in Daycare.

Go to an area where you have those hills that can only be climbed when you have the Mach Bike and with speed.

Now select the bike and put something heavy on your control pad (is that what it's called? :/) so that you'll go up and down (because you don't have any speed, you won't make it).

I advise you not to use batteries. And now you are free to do everything you like. It may take long before the reach Lv.100 but then again, doing the Pokemon Leaque over and over is a bit too boring. And when they are finished, you have 2 Lv.100 Pokemon. [Smile]

The same can be done in the Psychic gym, by going against the grain of the mover-thingies.

At two steps per cycle (going up and then being pushed back) and four cycles per second (which is probably too high), it would still take about 35 hours to get a Medium growth Pokemon to level 100.

If you mix records with a friend, you can fight their current team in their secret base (like the Trainer House in GSC), right? Is this still limited to once per day? If so, is there a way to reset the time?

get a "temp" cart, get 10 secret hideouts(it is 10 right?), 10 lvl 100 friends per day (temp will get the 6 lvl 100s, link to your game then trade back, reset game and repeat), you can stay awake till 11:30 pm to fight once then wait a few minutes and fight again, then wait two days.

you can train 6 nodmg lvl 100 teams, each specialized on a diff EV training area, then do the toxic thing, or protect on their explosions or switch on their perish song zero turn i dont know =P you would use the extra slots to put duplicates of those ev training teams.
Battle them twice in 30 mins each two days (11:30pm thing) then wait the 2 days or continue training the old way. Of course battling the secret hideout trainers would give you a nice boost (get the pkmn that give the highest exp and the required Ev) (ie whenever its possible 6 Blisseys wouldnt work since they give 2 ev and not 3, they would be in the 4 extra slots though, for the exp)

hmm... you can only fight one of the ten trainers per day right?, i mean what if you battled the trainer, deleted it then liked to a new id or something and battled again. Does it store the #trainerslotused you had battled, or just the trainerid or both (in the case you can fight up to 10 trainers a day)

You can fight every secret base trainer once a day, and you aren't limited to 10 trainers. That's just how many you can register. Also if you mix records then they'll all reset so you can fight them again. So a quick way to train is to do all the secret base battles, mix records, and repeat those two steps. Of course its probably wise to make sure you have all of your Effort Values first.

hmmm are you absolutely sure?, are you limited to the amount of mixing you can do?, if not then thats the fastest way

i also said to make EV Specialized teams, not just any lvl 100 teams..., like 6 Golem, and another team of 6 Exploud (or the weakest poke that gives 3 to hp), and another 6 for speed... you get my point ^^

Yea I'm sure, I did it all the time before I lent out my sapphire version to one of my friends. As for having specialized EV teams I think its just faster to do the nessicary training in the wild.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but another manual method I've used is to get two pokes you want to level in the first positions, and battle the tv interviewer and her camera guy repeatedly.

They appear N. of Mauville, W. of Mauville, and then W. of Fortree. Wash, and repeat.

Also you receive 3 EV HP from Exploud, and 2 EV SpA from Magneton if that's what you're after. If you're training a smaller 'mon, use for the other one that can OHKO the opponents, and have either Macho Brace, or Exp. Share, whichever floats you.

You can also equip your bigger one with the Amulet Coin to double your winnings, maxing out your money quite quickly. Also keep plenty of Zigzagoons with Pickup for added Rare Candies/Nuggets/etc. and be sure to have at least one of them know Rock Smash and Surf.

The last two are actually east of Mauville and east of Fortree.

Right, then after a while it stops north of Mauville.

I got Sapphire for Christmas, and I hope I can keep track of how many times it takes to fight them before they stand still. Then I would finally make an insignificant mark in the history of pogeymanz research, even though noone would care (and a ROM hacker could easily beat me).

[Big Grin] Right, I'm dyslexic. That's what I meant.

Even still, as much as I've done this, I have yet to see them stop moving, and I've done it quite a bit.
