Hey guys I am new here! I know you have to go to nintendo contests to get them. I didn't see this question posted so I thought I would ask.

Does anyone have any idea if Jirachi and Deoxys are any good? or they just like the other Legendaries?

Any poke that has "Doom Desire" as its signature move can't be all bad, but I suppose we'll find out about Jirachi soon enough. Reports are the NYC pokemon center will start the giveaway when Pokemon 6 is released here in the states. Not sure whether it will be a straight handout as per Mew/Celebi, or an Eon Ticket deal.

R/S has the capacity to accept data new items, as seen by the new berries in the Japanese e-card set, so conceivably, they could create a "Wish Tag" that worked more or less like an Eon Ticket...But, obviously, I'm far into conjecture land at this point.

If I recall, Jirachi has the same base stats as Mew and Celebi. So I assume it will be on about their level. I know nothing about Deoxys. Might have to wait for the new R/G for it.

This is not a signature.

The philosophy of Deoxys is "hit hard, hit fast". Therefore it has great potential as a suicide opener or as a last-resort sweeper. It's got a total of 600, like Mew, Celebi, etc, just distributed differently. 50 HP, 150 Atk, 50 Def, 150 Spl Atk, 50 Spl Def, 150 Speed. Psycho Blast is its signature move; a Psychic-type Overheat. It's not as cheap as Mew, but quite a bit cheaper than Celebi.

Jirachi has the same stat distribution as Mew and Celebi. 100 all across. It's Steel/Psychic, so it's got quite a few resistances, and only two weaknesses. It gets a limited movepool though, and can be used either as an annoyer or a sweeper. About the same in cheapnes as Deoxys. Not Mew, but not exactly Celebi either.

There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research. This means that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs, huge erections, and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

Deoxys is the epitome of sweeper. It can't take a hit worth beans, but its speed will allow to still go first against a Salac Berry'd Heracross.

Deoxys can learn Recover, but it's wholly unnecessary. Deoxys has no time trying to restore HP. Just kill kill kill.
