Hi all,

I seem to recall that, in Ruby/Saphire, there is a different probability of getting, say, 5 Fury attacks than of getting 2. With pokefor down [Frown] I don't know where to look this up. Suggestions for where I can look it up, as well as the probabilities, if anyone knows them, are welcome.

Thanks, White Cat. Now, do you know if this applies to all multiple attacks?

I know it applies to all the single-turn multi-hit attacks (Fury Attack, Pin Missile, etc). I think it also applies to the multi-turn ones (Clamp, Fire Spin, Wrap, etc), but I'm not sure.

Thanks,White Cat. I was only thinking of single-turn, multi-hit attacks. By the way, I have never understood why these attacks exist. They're inacurate, and offer little in compensation. The only advantages I can think for them are that they have a higher minimum damage (2 to 5 hp) than most attacks, and a higher chance of receiving a critical hit (on one of the hits). This last could be useful aganst an opponent with enhanced defenses, I suppose. All in all, I don't see why they bothered to make thes attacks. And somehow I get the impression that the designers expected them to be really popular.
