Eek! I just learned a new little bit that gives me a deeper understanding of how the pogeys function. Now I'm thirsty for more.
Can anyone tell me how "stages" work? Like a Howl will raise your attack one stage. I know that my attack is 100. It's not directly observable in battle (I can't just check the summary for the answer) without reverse-figuring from the damage formula (which I don't have)(and still the random number would get in the way).
1.) How do I find out how much a stat-altering move will affect a stat? Is it a fixed percentage, or an uneven step system, or some odd-ass formula?
2.) Also, is Belly Drum's positive effect the same as 6 Howls? I assume it is.
3.) Air-velocity...unladen swallow...
4.) Thank you.
