I've finally caught a skitty and a surskit ![[Smile]](smile.gif) , both male ![[Frown]](frown.gif) . Is there any way to improve my odds of catching either? BTW, does it ever rain? ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

It's raining in the area I'm in. (Lots of really tall grass.) There's a sandstorm region too.

Hehe I got lucky. After beating the Elite 4 one time I spawned in my room and a commercial said lots of Skitty were out, I would encounter one every 2 fights. Caught 14 of them for myself and friends. =P

Skitty's on Route 116 (that's east of Rustboro), and you can get it before fighting the first gym.

Thanks, Donald. I already know where it is, though, it's just so rare. I want extras to give to my daughters, which means either catching a female, or catching at least 2 more males! So I'm looking for something to make it easier. Teejay's tip about the commercials might work, if I get them early enough.

I'm afraid we already have three cats, and can't adopt any more. Besides, our cats aren't interested in Pokemon, so you'd probably just feel alienated.

Skitty is rare? Heh, I caught one after like the fith time I saw one while doing a little training. After that, every Skitty was merely a target. I probably killed 10 of them.

Skitty and Surskit suck, so I didn't really try to get them.
But I randomly bumped into them, so I caught one of each and left them collecting dust in box 1.
Speaking of it, today, a newsflash said that there were a lot of Surskit in route 102. I went to see, and there was indeed a lot of them. I didn't bother catching any, though, because they suck
