Did somebody notice if the Shedding and Insomnia characteristics work with Rest? That would be awesome, as many old underused have them (Noctowl, Ariados, Hypno, Arbok…).
In the ROM, I breeded Rest on my Habunekku (you know, the black snake). Well… Sometimes it wakes up at the end of the turn, sometimes it just works as usual. Could it be some percentage thing? I’m quite sure it does not depend by level. Any more info?

Sorry if this has been already debated.

Rest + Insomnia = Rest fails (you don't fall asleep, but you don't recover either)

Rest + Yaruki = Rest fails (same)

Rest + Early rising = sleep lasts one turn less (not totally sure though)

Rest + Shedding = you get healed on a pretty much random base. You can awake the turn you used rest, but you can also awake one, two or three turns later. My bet is that there's a 50% chance of healing yourself at the end of each turn, but I didn't test it thoroughly.

Rest + Healing nature = switch out to make your pokemon awake (didn't test that one, but it's pretty obvious according to the definition)
