Is there some guide to teach proper strategy to people who would otherwise teach their Pikachu Thunder shock and Thunderbolt? Some sort of "Pokemon for Dummies" type of guide book. And if there isn't, it may be something some one would want to make.

Jolt135 actually wrote a guide sort of like that. If you want it, ask him in Azure Arena.

Though maybe I could convince Versus to publish a Pokemon for Dummies book that covers all three versions when I get a little RS battling experience... hrm...

Edit: Jolt's a GameFAQs writer now. It's the Strategy Guide by RJones.

Yea, donald, that would be great. Even if it was only a section in a regular RS walkthrough, it would add alot of value to it.

The guide books for Stadium 1 and 2 cover this sort of thing, to a limited extent.

I love nintendolover, but only in a strictly platonic sense.

I've always wanted to pass on the old legacy of intelligent pokemon battling. I've got a site up that tries to do this and a bunch of other things. The articles assume that you have a slightly reasonable background with pokemon, someone who has passed the game and is willing to look up the suggested links should get it. So far I've got a battle mechanics guide, an IV guide, and I'm halfway through a moveset guide. Enough babble, here's the link.

A ridiculous amount of guides and Pokémon fanfiction inspired by Joseph Conrad and Aldous Huxley.
