Everyone knows how a standard perish trapper goes... Mean Look, Perish Song, Protect, Protect, Protect (or better, Protect, Detect/Endure, Protect). But often they will switch out on the last turn and I will be KOed. I'm not sure about this, should the person who didn't switch still get a chance too?

What Nintendo doesn't want you to know
Uiru: "Now that we're all used to the rules, clauses and by-laws... what would happen to the metagame if every one of them were whipped away?"
GP-Chan: "id probably quit every battle, and not just every other battle."
ThumbsOfSteel: "Why, because they broke the rules?"

Technically, the trapping move is still in effect until they switch. So you attack and then you die.

I personally got so tired of Trappers that I started playing for the draw by sending in Curse/Explosion Pokemon to waste something on the switch.

I tried playing with a Tauros w/ Horn Drill once. The damn coolest thing ever was having an enemy Misdreavus Perish Trap it, and having Horn Drill KO a Celebi on the switch-out. [Big Grin]
