I need the formulas for taking a specific DV and a Pokemon's base stat and converting it into the stats with 0 stat exp at a given level and the stats with full stat exp at at a given level, and the formula for determining stat exp from a Pokemon. I'm thinking of making a DOS-prompt program where you enter a pokemon's name or number and its level and it will output values for no stat exp and full stat exp for each DV as well as stat exp and regular exp gained from it, as well as exp needed to get to that level. The exp needed isn't really needed but it takes 0 time to put in.

This?

2*basestat+2DV*Stat Exp*Level/100+5

HP are 2*basestat+2DV*Stat Exp*Level/100+Level+10

I hope that's what you meant.

Stat Exp: 0-63 I have no idea how many points = how many stat points though.

I can't get them to work. Are you missing some parantheses or am I just doing it wrong? Can you give me an example?

try these:
int((basestat+dv)*level/50)+5
int((basehp+dv+50)*level/50)+10

i'm not sure where stat exp goes in the actual formula (or what the actual formula looks like, for that matter, but these have always worked). i just tag it onto the end with a "+int(statexp*level/100)". may not be a perfect replica of the in-game formula, but the results match.

I found these in White Cat's dex to determine max possible stats.
Max HP = (Level x (Base + 15 + 31.9 + 50) / 50) + 10
Others = (Level x (Base + 15 + 31.9) / 50) + 5
The 15 is obviously the DV, and 31.9 obviously has some relation to stat exp. What the relation is however, is unclear. Your formula works perfect though spunman, thanx. I'll let everyone know once it's done.

I've had the Stat Exp. correlation for quite a while now. It is:

StatPoints= (int(sqrt(StatExp - 1) + 1) / 4

with any StatExp value above 65025 treated as 65025. (65026 results in an output of 64.000.)

The 31.9 is just an estimation of half the value that results from plugging 65025 into the above formula. The one that White Cat gave bases the results from L50, though, instead of treating L100 as the base of calculations.

Thanx, though there's some weird error in the program that shouldn't be there, I think it's actually an error in the compiler. The same thing with another program I was making for fun [Frown] Anyways, I'm just going to copy what works, and retype that part and the base values I have typed in. It would have been done earlier otherwise. I doubt people will have much use for it though, because of the Skill/Stat Finder, but I just wanted to make it. I think I'll add something to determine how hard it is to catch at what level with what hp left and what status conditions, if they affect it. I'm not sure, but there's this one great site called Pokemon Forever...
