Here's a truly stupid question. Let's say I only open the chamber with the S, T, U, V, W Unowns--the one with Aerodactyl, I think.

So my odds of catching a blue Shiny V Unown go up from 1 in 8000 to roughly 1 in 1600? or only 1 in 3200 (given the I/V Unown split)?...Or do the odds change at all?

I have the tables on Unown DVs, but I'm a ittle iffy on how the Unown "restrictions" work, and I was hoping someone with more mental wattage could confirm the odds on Shiny Unowns with only the "V etcetera" chamber open...

Thanks for entertaining this idiotic request.

Well, for what it's worth I know this:

The only Shiny Unowns are "V" and "I"
So, if you find a Shiny Unown, it will have to be "I" or "V"

Meowth346 has some info of this stuff I think, maybe you can find it on his site somewhere if it's posted:

Good Luck
