Which Pokemon are in each fmaily of Pokes? And can some of the Pokemon in those groups breed with Pokemon in other groups?

What Nintendo doesn't want you to know
Uiru: "Now that we're all used to the rules, clauses and by-laws... what would happen to the metagame if every one of them were whipped away?"
GP-Chan: "id probably quit every battle, and not just every other battle."
ThumbsOfSteel: "Why, because they broke the rules?"

there are fourteen basic families that pokémon can belong to. you can name the families what you like, but same pokémon will still exist in them. pokémon do not breed with members of families to which they do not belong. however, many pokéys belong to two different families, which is what enables "chain breeding".
