I've been eharing different things about Rollout -- some say it maxes out at 255 (which I think is correct), while others say 480... and if that 480 figure is correct...
With six curses and six Tail Whips, Blissey's fifth-turn (480 power) Rollout OHKOs the 498-Def, *.25 resistant Steelix just over half the time ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)
Max damage is 384, average damage 355, minimum damage 326.
And if you think the 255 figure is correct, tell fanha, as the GSboits are currently set to 480.

My damage calculator says 211-249 damage, nowhere near the kill. That's because of the 999 cap.
All figures were taken from version 3.76 of PKUtility, which should now be flawless.

I'm pretty sure its 480. If you where to take 255 and keep dividing it by two, you would keep getting decimals.

By testing the move with Shuckle against a Steelix, I have confirmed that Rollout peaks at 480.
But in this case, the damage exceeds 999 before type multipliers are introduced, so it is set to 999, and then the "/ 4" is taken, for a final total of 249.

exactly. there is a problem with time. what can ruin thyn plan is
a. switch to hazer
b. take your @$$ down before you can.

Magcargo which uses Defense Curl 6 times and then uses Curse six times will have an attack of about 800 and will be using a stabbed attack with starting attack value of 60 > 120 > 240 > 480 < 960. so yeah, he RoCkZorz. and um.. "duh" about the whole double 4x weakness thing guys..

I believe that as long as its attack can be raised it will still be able to curse. I know for sure that a Poke can still use curse even if its speed is bottomed out. Otherwise you'd be able to prevent something from cursing all the way up with Scary Face. I'm assuming it's the same with attack/defense, but I'll do further testing.
A brief test using Swagger and the Slowpokes at Slowpoke Well shows that curse continues to raise/drop stats even after one is maxed out. So as long as the D-curls come first it will work.
