I have just done some research on Psywave which the info posted has been forwarded to Azure to stop credit theifs... Well

Psywave has a 0.6% chance of doing 150 damage when used with a Level 100 pokemon... This is less than 1%...

Psywave has a 0.6% chance of doing 1 damage when used with a Level 100 pokemon... This is also less than 1%...

Psywave has a 66.6% chance of doing more than 50 damage when used with a Level 100 pokemon... This is less than 1%...

Psywave has a 66.6% chance of doing less than 100 damage when used with a Level 100 pokemon... This is less than 1%...

Basically the chances of doing damage from ranges

1-50 is 33.3%
51-100 is 33.3%
101-150 is 33.3%

Psywave isn't as accurate as seismic toss... Its a move for gambling around but if you are lucky can be used effectively...

Remember folks theres no "I" in "Orgy". Now ask yourself "Are you a team player"?

I feel bad for saying it about two posts, but this isn't exactly research - It's statistics and Azure Heights is hardly ever updated anymore anyway.
The Psywave Attack entry already contains an average damage including factoring in the accuracy, so there's really no point to break it down so accurately when people can just go to school and learn basic mathematics for themselves.

While Mu was his usual rude self, he is essentially correct. We've already done an analysis of the attack, so this is just a different way of looking at the same data.

The post is appreciated, since discussion of all attacks is welcome, but it's not the sort of thing we're interested in putting up on the site itself.

Thanks for contributing to the forum, however.
