If so... the chance of successfully attacking is 25%?

Yes. Note that confusion is checked before Attract.

The opponent's chance of hitting will effectively be 25%.

Attract = 50%
Confusion = 50%
Paralysis = 25%
6 Evades = 29% (Chance of actually connecting)
6 Accuracy Down = 28% (Chance of actually hitting)

50 x .5 x .25 x .29 x .28

0.5075% chance of connecting.

Maybe Baton Pass, Mean Look, Mud-Slap, Double Team Umbreon ISN'T so bad, especially when passing to a Miltank with Swagger, Attract, and Body Slam.

Of course, if you get hit by this attack, you know you have 0 luck.

Factor in a 30% flinching move too, and it falls to 0.15225. But the wierd thing is if you used a 10% flinching move, you end up with 0.05075. Huh? That can't be right...

Does brightpowder use its own variable? If it did, very VERY little chance of attacking!

*uses a confused Mew to hit a 6-DT'd Lanturn with Horn Drill*

Is that luck or what?

Of course, it took 19 tries.

This Paracontraction/paratractifusion is quite annoying, I had it done to my Umbreon once. Of course it was helpless and fainted...Oh yes, a Lanturn was the "evil-doer"

I once was battling with my fun Butterfree against a Rhydon. I had six DT under my belly, and managed to parattract it. Then, it used Rock Slide...and Butterfree fainted.

This is bad luck.

*fixes math*

Attract = 50% chance of non-attracted
Confusion = 50% = 50% chance of no self-hit
Paralysis = 75% chance of no FP
6 Evades = 0.285714% chance of actually connecting
6 Accuracy Down = 0.285714% chance of actually hitting

1.53061% chance of hitting.... and that's assuming 100% accuracy. What if they're using a move like FireBlast? Or *shudder* Fissure?
