I was kinda hoping someone can point me in the direction of a site that possesses all the early/japanese translations of the new GSC pokemon. Thanks.

You mean like what they thought their names were gonna be in English? Like Serebii or Rugia for example?

That one's got some of the early English speculation names. Blacky for Umbreon, Milktank for Miltank, Polyfrogdo for Polytoed, etc.

Too bad they didn't go ahead and translate the Dark type as "Evil" or, better yet, "Devil." Both were reported as possible translations before the US release of Gold and Silver. Woulda been moderately amusing to watch the holy roller watchdogs salivate over that one.

The names at that link look like fan speculation, not leaked names that Nintedo was considering.

Let's see...

(Actual name): (Assumed name at that time)

Natu: Xatu
Xatu: Xoqu/Xoqo/Ebeagle (Ebony + Eagle)
Smeargle: Ebeagle (Easel + Beagle)
Corsola: Cirsika (unregistered by any Nintendo registering companies)
Flaaffy: Skiploom (loom)
Skiploom: Flaafy (something about fluff)
(above two corrected by someone at BulbaGarden)
Sneasel: Misdreavus/Misdeavus/Misdeavous (Mischievous + Dreadful/Devious)
Misdreavus: Trillix/Trillyx
Pineco: Skarmory
Skarmory: Wooper (something like a whooping crane)
Wooper: Ampharos (pharaoh)
Ampharos: Centerity ([Pokemon] Center + Electricity)
Celebi: Serebii (obvious)
Ho-Oh: Houou (obvious)

There were probably more. All I can remember for now

Edit: Qwilfish: Wobbuffet (buffet)
Wobbuffet: Unknown, referred to as Soonansu

Edit: Got another two...
Piloswine: Torvado (Tornado, something else)
Teddiursa: Ursabear (Might have been corrected at some point)
And IIRC, people didn't get Shuckle until the very end.

Edit: Togetic: Togechick
Yanma: Dunsparce
Dunsparce: Duglari
Tyrogue: Hitmonkid/Hitmontyke
And took out all the "Message edited by"'s!

Note: Himanuts (Sunkern) Blacky (Umbreon) Eefee (Espeon) etc. were very early on, and their names were correctly matched by the time most other Pokemons' names were.

I'm a closet Pokémon fan -- all evidence I like Pokémon is locked away in my closet.
