Speaking of color changing, does anyone know a place where I can find all the colors that you can make a Pokemon on Stadium 1?

MEWMAN, the reason that no one is answering you is, we don't know. Knowing exact color schemes would envolve the cracking open of the ROM of Stadium and the knowledge of the hex conversion of how it manipulates the Trainer ID#, DVs in the attack, defense, speed, and special, and the format in which the nickname of the Pokémon is presented. Even if we knew how it was done, we probably couldn't explain it to you anyway. It is very complex & just the concept of hexadecimal itself takes time to merely grasp it, let alone use it.

Or something to the above.

Question: Does the color change also work in Stadium 2? I know that "shiney" Pokémon are the same color that they appear in G/S.

If so, I may do some research on it.... if not, I may do some research on it(Stadium 1, of course)...

I can only contribute a couple observations on this on--

First, not all the Shinys are the same colors on S2 as they are in GS. Out of my six shinys, Sudowoodo and Tentacruel look very different between the two games. Other AHers have also observed similar differences.

Second, I'm not quite sure what "color change" refers to, but if the question is "Does a nickname affect a pokemon color scheme in Stadium 2?", the answer is most certainly yes. If anything, S2 seems to have many more color schemes than S1. Some of them are incredibly garish.

But of course I have no idea how the cart assigns these colors.
