No, even in RBY if you Raged and they sent in a Gengar, Rage fails and thus stops Raging. I never got around to doing research onto whether or not you kept the Attack boosts, but you get to choose a different move.

Although, I did unfortunately end up in a Rage war using a level 63 Ditto against a level 40-something Onix.
That seemed to last forever.

Impossible.

They would just keep Transforming into each other, and each time they Transform, they would have 5 PP for each move the opponent has, which would be Transform. So, theoretically, unless one of the Transforms misses 5 times in a row, it would go on forever without Struggle kicking in.

In other words, @_@
