After coming across an old post here, I found something called "Stat Bleeding". Apparently, after using a stat enhancer(Amnesia, etc.), you will also recieve a 1/8 bonus to the "other" stats(meaning, the one's not directly being enhanced). Is this actually true?

If it does work, will it do the same in G/S?

I think you've got it wrong.

When you obtain the appropriate Badge, your Pokemon's stats in battle will increase by 1/8.

I've heard that the 1/8 bonus doesn't apply to link battles and Stadium. Is this true?

This is what I've figured out:

"Stat bleeding" occurs *only* in cart battles, not link battles. I don't know about stadium, though.

I haven't seen it in Metallics yet, but that doesn't mean it isn't there.

Hmm... so, do the Kanto Badges work with this "stat bleeding" in link battles or Stadium?

Everyone was asking why a guy in the game says those Badges help in link battles...

You're trying to combine two seperate things.

"Stat bleeding" is, as Jman described, how using (for example) Meditate will also cause your Defense, Speed, and Special to go up by 12.5% each. This only happens in wild/trainer (in-game) battles, not link ones.

The badge effect is completely different. Normally, your ADSS stats are multiplied by 8/9 (reduced by 11.1%) during in-game battles. When you get the appropriate badge, that stat's reduction is removed.

I'm not sure how either effect works in Metallics.

Question: Do the "greatly" stat boosters bleed more than the normal ones? For example, would a Growth boost the other stats by 12.5%, while Amnesia would boost them by 25%? My guess is 'no'...

I think the Gym Badges give you stat experience, I'm not sure.

Greatly Boosters still bleed the same as the normal boosters, so 6 uses of Growth will bleed twice as much as 3 uses of Amnesia.
