Did i get your attention? Good.

1. I heard people always saying that Razor leaf and slash does critical hits more often, so i decided to check.

2. I reasoned that the data for that would be included in the attack stats. (Attack number-stats-power-type-accuracy-PP)

3. I went to my Yellow Rom, and found that Razor leaf and slash DID NOT have any side effects whatsoever.

4. I am wondering: Is the rumour true then? Is the data stored somewhere else? If so, Where? Or is it just what it is called, a rumour?

Thank you if you reply...

Well, the question isn't "do they critical hit more often", that much is obvious.

I don't know where the data is, though. I suspect the chromatic crithit code was added at the last minute by a drug crazed monkey, so I wouldn't have any problem believing that the crit hit code itself actually checked the value of the move: it already runs through a custom BDF (one without the modifiers: you can say that's deliberate, but I really don't think so).

This isn't really research. As for your ROM, it's probably, hmmm, let's see here, a freakin' ROM!
Can you expect high quality out of a pirated piece of software?
Yes, Razor Leaf and Slash CH a lot. 255/256 times, methinks. Nuthin' much.

There's a formula to calculate how frequently your pokemon will get a critical hit with moves like razor leaf / slash.

I can't recall what it is, but it's to do with base speed and 255 or 256.
