I've heard that certain things happen when you use your own Pokemon in Mini-Games.

I know it does something to your cart if you win a Mini-Game tournament. It says something like "Kamek's Pokemon are impressed too!"

Is this another way to increase their happiness rating?

What else can happen with pokes you use in Mini-Games?

As far as I know, only the Happiness goes up. I've heard that there's been talk that Stat EXP raises, but I havne' checked on sure a thing yet.

It's pretty obvious that Happiness raises (I've got listings of "by how much" somewhere around here) as ever "Happiness Evolution" (or "Tameness Evolution") Pokémon has a Mini-Game to play in.

Once I get some time, I'll do some comparisons of Stat Exp and Happiness and see if they go up by a set value or at all. This will be easy since I got my CodeBreaker back

I have another question... What Pokémon(from your game) can be used for the games?

Current findings so far:

You must play for 7 tokens or more to get Happiness as your prize.

Winning a game against Easy CPUs raises Happiness by 1 point. (e.g., from 61 to 62)

Haven't tried other settings yet.

Golbat
Hitmontop
Scyther, Pinsir, Scizor (with Cut)
Mr. Mime
Furret, Girafarig (with Headbutt)
Pichu
Donphan
Igglybuff, Cleffa
Togepi, Omanyte
Delibird (what about other with Present?)
Chansey (I think you can use Blissey...)
Eevee

I'd have to disagree. I used my Scizor in it when it only has DT, Reversal, BP, & SG on it, no cut in it's history or other. I don't think moves have an effect on it, but I'm not to sure.

Just to add, your Pikachu from your Yellow Version can be used in the Pichu Mini Game.

According to Michael, my Pikachu caught on Red, currently on Gold, and always used in the Pichu game, any Pikachu can be used, not just a Yellow Version Pikachu.

It chooses the pokemon in order of boxes. That is, it checks box 1 first for pokemon that can play, then box 2 if it doesn't find any in box 1, and so on. So, if you want a particular pokemon to play, put it in a box with a low number.
