Sweet Scent lowers the opponent's evasiveness.

Does this make low-accuracy moves (e.g., Blizzard, Iron Tail, etc.) easier to hit?

May sound like a dumb question, but just wondering.

And it is the best move to save time when you are leveling up your pokémon

I have a question about Sweet Scent.

By how much does Sweet Scent increase the density (the chance for Pokemon to appear) of wild Pokemon outside of battle?

it doesn't increase density. you just stand in the tall grass/cave/wherever pokémon appear and use it. it starts a battle.

Are you saying that Sweet Scent invokes a wild Pokemon battle, then?

That's exactly what it does. It invokes a wild battle, only when you are in an area where you can battle (grass, cave, water..)

That's the reason I said SS is the best move to save time when leveling up pokémon

Instant battles!

ya know, I'm gonna test to see if it'll lure the beasts =) I've never seen them, and I'll be able to use a L39 Gengar and Repel in the near future, so I'll test it.

I use Mewtwo, and I don't care if you think he's cheap or not. He'll always be on my team (except in situations where Mewtwo is banned for some stupid reason), including on G/S, not for stats, but because I like him as a pokemon. So there!

Repel doesn't affect Sweet Scent, so you would be far more likely to invoke a battle with a wild Pokemon.

Yep, just discovered that. Actually, it may affect it. More testing would be neccessary, but I never saw a pokemon that was below level 6 (same as the oddish I was using with Sweet Scent). I'll test some more in areas that you won't usually see a pokemon over L6, like near New Bark Town.
