...according to what "earl" says on stadium, States that stomp is double affective vs a "minimizer", not double teamer. I tried it out on staduim and the damage seems double, but nothing like "super effective" pops up. Can anybody confirm this?

Well, if it *is* true, it's the same kind of "combo" as defense curl / rollout: Nintendo applied fantasy logic to the game, and made it so that some moves have their base damage doubled in certain situations.

It isn't that bad of a concept, but I haven't tested it.

I did. twister helps fly, earhtquake works better if the pokemon is underground (a.k.a it used dig) and stomp does double if the pokemon use's minmize. All though..these attacks arent that strong to begin with. (execpt e-qauke) other then that, i doubht some one sould use this info. in good use. (execpt earthqauke) thats pretty good to hear.

Stomp's 2x damage against Minimizers has been in effect since Gold/Silver were released in Japan. So, it's nothing new.

Does it do double damage to Double Teamers too?

No. (See the first post).

A double teamer does not decrease in size, as a minimizer. A smaller pokémon takes more damage when you stomp on it. (If you want to test this for real, take a bug and a bull. Stomp on them. The bug dies, the bull doesn't.)

Nintendo's just trying to add a little logic in a game that makes no sense.

This is quite strange because double team can be learned by any pokemon that can learn minimize, so why would anyone use minimize now? Extra PP is not an issue, the odd's of having to set up more than 4 time's is quite low (DT with PP up's is 24 PP, you use it 6x for full evade).

It's just like Nintendo's godness of Pikachu. It's just for kindergartners. Small things get stepped on a lot, including little newbies, heh heh.
