I saw this posted somewhere else, but I decided to ask it here so I could find it again.
(Sad, ain't I?)

Does anyone know how Rocks and Bait afffect the pokemon in the Saari Zone? From observation, Bait keeps them in battle longer, but makes it harder to hit them. Rocks make them anggry, but I havn't noticed a difference in catching them. Safari Balls are the quivilant of Great Balls, so just catching a full HP, say, Dratini, is pretty hard with just great balls.

Anyone know anything?

Throwing rocks makes them noticeably easier to catch, in my experience. I have no idea what the actual formula is. Perhaps TeamPA has it?

Simply another reason why a Japanese translator is REQUIRED to solve these mysteries.

And someone better hurry: I was just there yesterday and it said that TeamPA would close down at the end of the month (4 days from now). AltaVista's web site translator doesn't help, either.

I found it! Info is right here:

http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Castle/5553/capture.html

It's in Japanese, though.

Unless my eyes deceive me, there is a little explanation at the top, and then the chart for capturing pokemon difficulty. The explanation probably deals with that, not with Safari Zone.

Any other ideas on the Food/Rocks?
