I was training a Houndoom (LV.100 Female with Lucky Egg attached.) outside of Goldenrod fighting Drowzees and such. after 26 battles I boxed my Houndoom and took it back out. The Spec. Def had dropped to 1. I saved the game and turned it off. When I turned it back on the stat was higher than before (what it should have been after boxing it) anyone come across this?

whu? Well, using the box trick, it goes by your stat experience, right? So it is possible that you actually need to save the game in GS to do it. As much as I can remember, in RBY all you need to do is box them and unbox them, but saving and restarting could be part of the programming in GS. I dunno, I don't have enough experience in GS.

The next time this happens, try fighting a battle against something that uses Special-based attacks, to see if the stat really did drop or it was just a display glitch.

What Nintendo doesn't want you to know
Uiru: "Now that we're all used to the rules, clauses and by-laws... what would happen to the metagame if every one of them were whipped away?"
GP-Chan: "id probably quit every battle, and not just every other battle."
ThumbsOfSteel: "Why, because they broke the rules?"

A similiar thing happened in stadium. When I looked up my draggy's special in my GB, it had fallen 1 point and didn't even box it [Frown]

It's probably just a glitch. Games aren't perfect and when tons of people play them glitches are liable to be found...

I think it was a miscalculation in the Processor that caused the wrong number to show up.
