Not at all (and you're a sugar lumpkins now)

Fury Cutter will stop increasing in damage at that number, but will only reset if it misses or is not used consecutively.

Oh cool, I'm a sugar lumpkins, hmm, whats the rating system here anyway? Oh yeah the damage deosn't stop at 160 cause I tested it with a Blissey and it goes above 713. Any more input, come on more suggestions here. ^_^

The base damage value of a move isn't the same as the actual damage it does in terms of HP. Other things are taken into consideration, like the enemies' Def, your Atk, type advantage/disadvantage. I won't explain it at length here, though if you ask nicely I'm sure someone will point you to a URL where you can find a damage calculation equation! :P

Ok here it be - the almighty holy grail of equations...

[(ABLF/D128E) + 1]*TM +/- v

A = attacker's Attack stat (or Special)
B = base damage for the move
L = attacker's Level
F = offensive stat modifier
D = defender's Defense stat (or Special)
E = defensive stat modifier
TM = the Type Modifiers
v = variability

Oh wait - that's the R/B one... well I think it's very similar - just use special defence/attack respectivly in the attack/defence placing if youre using special.
