Hi people!

Since it is hard to grow your pkmns to level 100, where do you train them?

I was at Mountain Silver and noticed that my pkmns' Special Defense and Special Attack were growing worst than the others stats. We face Donphans, Doduos, Dodrios, Rapidashes, Ponytas, Tangelas (I got a shiny yellow tangela there , and Sneasels.

Trying to reach the max stats, I made a research to find another place, and I decided that the Tentacools & Tentacruels near Cinnabar are a good choice, since their levels are next to the pkmns from Mt. Silver, what means almost the same experience.

My pkmns are around level 82 and my scyther is one or two points near to his max stats.

So, where are your training fields?

Stat exerience is based on what you fight.

Since you're fighting Donphan and Rapidash (weak special), you're not gaining as much special as you would be in fighting Mewtwo (too bad you cant fight Mewtwo)

Though some may wish to wait for Stadium GS and Dodrio Mode, I find that the best place for me to raise my Pokemons' stat exp is the Ruins of Alph. Now, I do realize that my Pokemon can be trained passed level 100 with placing them in the PC, but I still like to MAX their stat exp before reaching level 100. Unowns give low EXP, decent enough stat exp, and MAX out your Pokemon's stat exp after downing just 780 Unowns.

Again, some may wish to wait for Stadium GS and Dodrio mode...I was playing Gold a looong time today before reaching taking out about 800 Unowns.

Now, as for training to level 100, after the Unown battling, I usually EXP.SHARE a Pokemon through the Elite Four and Lance, lead by my Ampharos with the Amulet Coin, until the Pokemon is on a high enough level to Lucky Egg its way through the Elite Four.

Beyond that, I almost never enter Mt. Silver unless I feel up to defeating Red for higher EXP and a bit of money.

Yes, I know the stat exp. is based on the pkmns you fight. That was the reason I changed my training field from Mt. Silver to Cinnabar Island.

I didn´t look at the Unown stats, but are they better than Tentacools/Tentacruels stats, for stat exp.?

I also do prefer do rise them to max stats before reaching level 100

Say, Meowth346. Are you sure there is a Dodrio mode in Stadium GS? I'm not saying you're wrong, but some of us (or at the very least myself) have been wondering about that and any possible effects it would have on the built in clock.

There is in fact a Doduo Mode in Stadium fomr defeating the Gym Leader Castle, but I haven't found Dodrio Mode yet. The internal clock in the game does not speed up with the Doduo Mode speed, so if you're playing in Doduo Mode (2x speed), for every 1 hour Game Time that goes by, only 30 minutes real time will have passed in the game.

But, yes, a hastened mode exists.

I train one pokemon at a time. Heres the steps:
1. Give it 10 of each stat enhancer.... before I duped them, now I don't need to since training the previous pokemon at the elite 4 and "red" with amulet coin really makes me rich
2. Train according to level, finally reaching elite 4

So what you are saying meowth346 is that you just have to fight around 800 unowns and your pokemon will get maxed attack, defense, speed, spcl attack and spcl defense? Exactly how long did it take to battle all 800 unowns? Would I still be able to max out my poke stats by fighting unowns even if they arelevel 100?

Yes, you can max out your critters (in all categories) at Lv100 with Lv5 Unowns. Yes, it takes several hours unless you have a whole lot of Elixers and stuff to keep you going.

I prefer fighting Elite 4 twenty-one times after drugging.

My calculations may be wrong, someone please inform me if I am.
