i've read a lot of threads w/ movesets listing rain dance w/ thunder...and my question is, how does rain dance affect thunder if it boosts water type attacks? does the rain make ur opponent temporarily weak to electricity or something? and if that is the case, why r people placing thunder ahead of thunderbolt? i thought thunder had the worst reliability of all the electric attacks (other than the new zap cannon)!? also, if rain dance does in fact boost lightning attacks, then does it boost any other type attacks? what about the other type boosters such as sunny day? what kind of strange side affects does it have? holla back!

Rain Dance, while in effect, raises Thunder's accuracy to be equal to that of the likes of Swift, Faint Attack and Vital Throw. I think the reason for this is maily to fir in with the rain theme, with rain comes storms etc...

Rain Dance also halves the damage taken from Solar Beams.

Well... Clear Skies makes Solar Beam not take in Sunlight and that synthis becomes more effective, thats why most Meganium Movesets say... Clear Skies Synthisis Solar Beam E-quake
