Previously, it has been asked how the Special stat exp gain from defeating a Pokemon works in G/S, since there are two Special base stats (Attack and Defense) but only one Special stat exp variable.
Using NoCash, I was able to determine that the Special Attack base stat value is the one that is used. I tested various conditions to make sure that it doesn't "always use the highest one" or something like that.
