What are the odds of you running from a wild battle?

What does Guard Spec, Dire Hit, and the X Stat items do?

What are the odds of you catching a pokémon with a Poké, Great, Ultra, or Safari Ball?

My guide is messed up and it says that Flareon learns Ice Beam while Vaporeon doesn't. Who created this?

What are the odds of you getting a fish when using the rods?

What are the odds of you getting into a wild battle?

Where can I find base stats for all the pokémon?

No idea.

What does Guard Spec, Dire Hit, and the X Stat items do?

Guard Spec - Decreases chance of critical hit on the Pokemon its used on

Dire Hit - Increases critical hit chance of the Pokemon its used on(has this been tested, it might work like FE)

X Stat - I'd guess that it increses the modifier by .5.

What are the odds of you catching a pokémon with a Poké, Great, Ultra, or Safari Ball?

*Shrugs* Just put them to sleep and throw an Ultra Ball.

That's a typo if you haven't already guessed.

Depends on your pokemon, your pokemon must be faster than the wild one

What does Guard Spec, Dire Hit, and the X Stat items do?
Guard Spec- according to the game boy it protects pokemon against special atttacks
Dire hit- Increases critical hits on your pokemon
X Stat- works like growth (to increase special)or defense curl(to increase defense), same goes for speed and attack.

If your Speed is greater than or equal to the enemy's, you will always get away. (I have never failed to run away from a Ditto that transformed into me.) Below that, the chance is random, but I have no idea what the formula is.

Since people are asking questions, I have one :

Someone has told me that Dark Gaze, Black Look, whatever you call it, will wear off if you switch the user of the attack. Is that true?

Does X Speed nullify the speed penalty when you're paralyzed?

According to Huor, Guard Spec and Dire Hit work alike. True?

No, you misunderstood. Dire Hit decreases the chance of your Pokemon getting hit by a critical hit. Focus Energy and Dire Hit decrease of your Pokemon getting a critical hit.
