Okay, on another topic here it has been generally agreed, it would seem, that as long as certain requirements are met, it is possible to backwards trade.

SO! Does this mean that I can breed a baby Cubone with Rock Slide, trade back and teach it Body Slam? If yes then this will be the best thing ever *gets ready to clear space on team for Marowak*

And then if you did that, d'you think the move would show up in Pink on Stadium?

The general rule will probably be that if you can teach a monster a move it couldn't learn in chromatics (but existed then) in the metallics, it will be a legal trade back to the chromatics. It is possible that they have a table built into Gold and Silver to stop that, but I can't imagine why they would do that.

So yea, that should work, if I'm reading it right (if you can breed Rock Slide onto Cubone)...

Grass, Water, Ice, Psychic from mewtwo/alakazam, Fire from moltres/flareon...

Is it possible to fight link battles with a R/B/Y game via the G/S time machine?

UPDATE: Meowth346 tells me that you can.

NP? You mean Nintendo Power? Last time I checked, Nintendo Power was just a magazine. Its the game makers at Nintendo and Gamefreaks that actually make the games.

Of course, you are correct. Nintendo Power is pure idiocy and evil.
