There is always STAB. No matter what, there is STAB. If your gameboy is crushed, and you pokégame's pokésave is lost, there is still STAB. If the four Horsemen of the Apocolypse ride tomorrow, at least there will be STAB.A hyperbeam on a snorlax is stronger than one on a dragonite. Of course, a crit hit hyperbeam from a dragonite is stronger than a normal hit from a snorlax (2.0 > 1.5) - but if they both get crit hits, a snorlax will do more damage (2.0 < 3.0). Huor: the only way a crit hit would do less damage than a normal hit is if either the attacker has boosted its attack/special sufficiently so it would do more than 2x damage normally, or if the attacker has lowered the opponent's defence/special to less than half of the original value - remember that crit hits bypass all stat changes. Hope this helped! ------------------ 'Goosnargh.' -Ford Prefect, 'Mostly Harmless'
