In this months NP, they have a pokemon code which proceeds as follows. Take a poke into battle, continue battling until one naturally learned move is out of pp. Go back to pokecenter and heal. atleast one of your stasts should have gone up by a point or two. Is this just the box trick in effect? is the variation in not actually boxing the poke an error on NoA;s part, or a completely new trick?

How many times does this have to be covered? Yes, NP found out about the Box Trick.

Was he talking about Azure in this quote?

No, some other board. Still funny that he says that we're so sad, and then he goes off and does the same thing at another board.

ok Huor, perhaps you just glanced at the topic and didn't actually read to body of my messege, which is a good idea for replying to msgs. I was asking if their published trick actually was the box trick, or some other different trick. Because if the naturally learned move is hyper-beam, or some other low pp move, you wouldn't gain enough stat exp to get the stat gain newayz, and besides it doesn't mention boxing tke poke. In my testing, following the exact steps of the mag, I saw no stat gain at all. Of course NoA is notorious for typos(the entire letters section is devoted to people complaining bout miswritten info.)so they may have been trying to print the box, but just made an error. Hope that was explanitve enough

AAAAARgh, why does no one get it??? I'm just askin to see if people could test that "code" and inform me of the results so that I will know if it IS THE BOX TRICK OR SOMETHING DIFFERENT. By now i've tested it many, many times, and am convinced that it is just the box trick misprinted. However it makes me kind of mad that people will just read the topic, post a generic reply without reading the text.

Oh, and Huor or whatever, I AM Still waiting.....I only need one now

Once again, I'm kind of mad at you guys for not reading the posts beforehand. In the three days between my original posts, between all the posts about nonexistent posts, I did test it, and this method did not work. I mentioned this in the post you replied to VotM. And whats wrong with wanting to compare results?

A simple question, does the Box trick remain in G/S or did the programmers remove it,like they did with missinNO,i doubt it.
