The question came up in the chat, "What happens if you use Disable on a pokemon with only one move?" to test it, I sent out Alakazam (anything goes rental) against Ditto, and Disabled Transform. Like I exspected, Ditto used Struggle, BUT...

Ditto did 25 damage, took 13 recoil.
Next round Ditto did 24, took 12 recoil.

Interesting... apparently a pokemon uses Struggle because it has one attack but it's Disabled, Struggle has 1/2 recoil instead of 1/4th... o_O

Anyone wanna plug in the numbers and see if this is normal Struggle damage? Anyone wanna test if it works like this on RBY too?

In Stadium, Struggle always does 1/2 recoil.

Testing in R/B/Y will be more tedious, because Disable doesn't do anything if the opponent has one move.

I tested this against a wild Sandshrew with only Scratch.

I used disable on a Jigglypuff with only sing in red, and it started to struggle too.
