I was teaching a friend of mine the Ways Of The Heights, and while fighting, I paralysed his Weezing. He used Haze, and Weezing's paralysis disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else? That's not how Haze works in RBY.

Also, in GS, does Haze remove "global" state changers as well, ie CJW, RD, Sandstorm and Caltrops?

I'm not sure about how it works in G/S... In Stadium, though, I'm pretty sure Haze clears ALL stat/status changes from BOTH active Pokmon.

Yup... That is why I like Haze so much... It gets rid of anything, I mean anything except subs. You can get rid of Mewtwo's Amnesia along with your own toxic. That is in Stadium I mean, don't know about g/s.

Haze won't cure the Pokemon that uses it of Toxic (or regular Poison or Paralyzation or the other major status changes). I think it does reset the Poison value to 1, though, so you'll only take 1/16 damage on the next turn. I'm not sure if the damage will start increasing again or not.

Oops, I should read more carefully. Anyway...

Cat-Gonk said:

But Darryn said:
Haze failed to remove PAR status [on the using Pokemon], or the lowered resulting speed, yet Ringing Bell did.

So who's right?
