I'm trying to find out some information on
breeding, since I am trying to breed Pokemon
on my Gold ROM. Right now,I'm having trouble
bredding a Wattako and Vileplume. I gave
them to the old couple - Watakko is the
male and Vileplume is the female(I'm trying
to get an Oddish),but when I checked them
out in the yard,it said they weren't interested at all.

WHAT THE F###!? I can't understand how my
Pokemon,both which I raised,won't mate!
How exactly can you tell if two Pokemon
love each other? Do they have to be two
Vileplumes to get an Oddish or what? I can't
believe this, because I know that certain
Pokemon can breed together(how else can
Pokemon get breedable moves?),so there is
something screwy about my ROM(it did make
me fight a L35 Machamp in the first cave
instead of a L11 Onix),or I am missing up
on something. Could you guys help me out?

No, you can breed any compatible pair. Check Meowth's breeding guide to see if they are compatible. The address is: members.xoom.com/_XMCM/Meowth346/gs/breed/breeding_frames.htm. That will tell you everything you need to know on what breeds with what. Oh, by the way, if anyone else answers this, what attacks can be easily bred to a Zubat? (please say a Paralyzing move)

Are you sure you gave the male Pokemon to the man and the female Pokemon to the woman?

Zubat's breedable moves are: Oiuchi, Gust, Damashiuchi, Quick Attack

I don't have that translated list available at the moment, so I have no idea what the first and third attacks are.

Of course I did! I don't think that
they would accept the wrong genders(male for
the woman and female for the man)!

I think that if you give them to the wrong people, it will just act like the Daycare Centre in RBY (gain experience, but no breeding).

Even if you give the female to the man and the male to the woman it will still be breeding. I know.

Well, that violates what I've heard from several prominent researchers. Also, the mans specifically says that you should give him a male, and the woman says you should give her a female.
