Such as a math problem that would figure the high and low amount of damage an attack would do to an opponent/
(yes I am an idiot on this board)

(((.4 * L + 2) * A * P / D) / 50) + 2
L = Level of Attacker
A = Attack of Attacker (Including Swords Dances and such abilities)
P = Power of Attack
D = Defense of Defender (Including Acid Armour and such abilities)

You have to take the integer value each value within the parenthesis and then the total value cannot be greater than 999.
Next if the attack type matches one of the attackers types multiply by 1.5 and take the integer value otherwise just take that value
Next multiply by effectiveness (4x, 2x, 1x, 1/2x, 1/4x, 0x) and take the integer value of that...
That value is the maximum possible damage and to get the minimum damage multiply by 217/255 (IIRC)
