Would a Happiness (aka Hapinasu) armed with Chansifier be potentially better than a Chansey armed with it? If the opponent kept attacking during Bide, that is. Are Happiness' stats better in any way to give it an advantage over its unevolved form?

Happiness's stats are 100% better than Chansey's. It is Chansey's evolved form, after all. It has double the attack and defense of its previous form (and it's still not much), slightly more life, speed, and special defense, and an unbelievably higher spec attack (chansey's was reduced in G/S)

I think it would be better because three attacks on chancey while it's biding can kill it fairly easily

Happiness is much better; it's Spec Def is also 30 points higher, making it significatly better at coping with psys and similar.

On the down side, Fighting Pokemon are a lot more viable in G/S...

What about giving Happinasu Reflect or Defense Curl to up its Defense against Fighting?
