Also Meditate and Sharpen, Flash, Sand Attack, Kinesis and Smoke Screen....are all these moves the same with different names, if so, why not give a chansey Double Team instead of Minimize?

Thank you, what about Sharpen and Meditate, they are both natural moves, so, is there a difference?

So, that's it? No difference except PP and accuracy?

As those pages say, that's it.

The effect is the same, but Accuracy and PP are different for some of the attacks you mentioned.

There are some attacks that do the same thing that are of different power, (eg, Acid Armor and Harden, Amnesia and Growth) but all of this information is available on the main site.

Yeah, but what I want to know is this...

...how come when I fought some battles and put my Charizard in the PC, when it came back out it had more HP? Huh?

Why don't you have this kind of information listed somewhere??????

The grand master of Pokčmon doesn't know about the box trick? Anyway, fight some battles with a Pokčmon, stick him in a box, then pull him out and he should have better stats in some way. If not, fight more battles.

Jeez, it's worse than I thought!

I can't believe I have to explain this...but that was sarcasm.

The main site has a whole article in the Compendium dedicated to the Box Trick.

I was making fun of the fact that some people don't even do the most basic research before blurting out silly questions.

You don't go to see an author speak and start off the questioning with "What books did you write?" or even worse "What do you do for a living?".

PPokeM HAD to be joking. I just refuse to... It couldn't have been... Oh nevermind.

Maybe it was "Let's Drive Mr. K Crazy" Day and nobody told me.

It has crossed my mind that PPokeM was joking...or Wintermute trying to rile me up...

Well, you know me. Always trying to rile people up.

Honestly, TGD has just made me want to go back to tapping my spacebar several thousand times and obsessing over formulae.

That's the easy, mindless part. It's interacting with the teeming millions that requires superhuman patience and strength of character.

Maybe on each main Forum page, there could be a sizable disclaimer at the top, letting people know that if they have a question, there's a good chance it's already been answered on the main site. Maybe the big Koffing could even be the link to the title page, just so they can't miss it.

'Course this just means more coding for you... I dunno. Just trying to suggest some kind of idiot filter.

So, you're saying that because Tail Whip and Leer have no differences whatsoever, than the person that decided some pokemon should learn both moves was just sadistic and twisted?

Leeer was changed in G/S to lower Special Defense, and Tail Whip wasn't- that's the only difference. So if I had to choose between Leer and Tail Whip, I'd choose Tail Whip in most situations because then at least your strategy for that pokémon would remain the same.
