okay, i've been making some theories about POKEMON. Can anyone back these up?
Here Goes:
1. we have always thought double team and paralyzation and speed are related. well, we know paralyzation lowers ur speed. what i have noticed is that the lower the speed, the more deadly paralyzation is. see, i was using charmander. it was hitting fine (even though paralyzed), then, the computer string shotted me. this seems stupid, and the computer has a really good artificial intelligence for stadium. anyway, after a few shots of string shot, my charmander could never hit, it would just say "it's fully paralyzed!" all this evidence points to their being a formula for paralyzation check when attacking. i'm pretty sure what this formula must contain is the speed of the pokemon and some number like 25 (25% base chance perhaps). I don't have access to the game's code, but stadium is helping us discover new possiblilities, i'm glad to say.
2. i've also noticed raising your evade once and lowering their accuracy once seems to be more effective than raising twice or lowering twice. this is true for attack and defense, becuase of the multiplicative rather than additive difference in the damage formula. so just as one defense raise and one attack lower is better than two defense raise, accuracy and evade probably work the same way.

Can anyone contribute to this? I can't run tests and this is the kind of thing where you will need probably need serious code reference, but you never know...

Rasing once and lowering once is better than twice or even three times of either because the first bonus is greater than all ones after that.
