I've read in your attack guide that Wing Attack is only 40 strength. How can that be true? With my Pigeot, it did more than Gust or Quick Attack. Or do you have a ROMed version of the game? This would explain a LOT of the differences I've seen.

Yoy probably forgot that if a pokemon uses an attack that matches its type, it gets a 50% bounus. So wing attack does only a little damage it is just increased because of its type.

1. Flying attacks aren't strong against Flying or Normal types.

2. Peck is a weak attack, anyways.

Flying attacks aren't strong or weak against Flying Pokemon. See: http://azureheights.com/compendium/typechart.htm

All the Special attacks are weak against their own type, but most Physical are just regular vs. themselves.

Interestingly, Poison is weak vs. Poison, but Ghost is doubly effective vs. Ghosts. Not that that matters much, considering no one uses Lick, but it's interesting.

The data seems totally in line with my (limited) experience with it. Did you notice a consistent pattern with a neutral target? As I mentioned elsewhere, Stadium backs up our figure, but they have been wrong about other things.

What other differences have you seen?

If we've got something wrong, we're definitely interested in fixing it.

Just mainly anything that says "This number has been confirmed". A lot lot of it makes sense, like the Explosion attack. They are 'officially listed as being 200 and 2509 strength attacks, but, then again, the official guides states that Jynx learns Sing and Meditate in place of Lick, Bodyslam, and Thrash.

Yeah, if your main source of info is some other guide, I'd trust Wintermute's testing any day.

Stadium is even wrong about stuff and the help is even on the same cart as the coding!

Ahh, you're right! It is as strong as Gust! This better be changed in Yellow and G/S since Gust is Flying or else the'll be the same attack.

According to... uh, that detailed breakdown on that site that's linked to on Necrosaro's page, Dragon is a Special attack in G/S, and it's SE against itself as well.
