Topic: Registeel and Regice EV problem.

K...I have cought both Regice and Registeel and they both had pretty good stats on the first try. The Nature isn't really good (not as bad as boosting Attack in Regice or something).
Regice Lv.50 Rash (+SpAtt,-SpDef; Rare Candied)
HP: 152
Att: 59
Def: 111
SpAtt: 126
SpDef: 186
Spe: 68
Registeel Lv.50 Gentle (+SpDef,-Def; Rare Candied)
HP: 147
Att: 83
Def: 152
SpAtt: 81
SpDef: 178
Spe: 59
So, do you know any good EV's for these two pokemon? I will probably only use Regice for the battle tower tho. :/

Meh.... as stats go, they aren't great, and RegiIce is meant to be a SpcAtt absorber. Not sure how you will work it... Maybe lots of SpcAtt? Beats me.

I'll train in SpAtt, SpDef, a little in Spe (like 8 EV's. ![[Razz]](tongue.gif) ) and the rest divided under HP and Def.
And I'll give it Amnesia.

Mr. White Cat says you can breed them with a ditto since they are non gender so try breeding a ditto with your Registeel over and over again to raise it's IVs. It works, but it takes a while. Oh you would have to shark the ditto or you could wait for the remakes to come out.
You could wait for Beldum, that is better than all the Regis after evolving to Metang to Metagross. Never thought I would liike 'em, but so far lot's of fun using him.

Well, I can't go sharking (and I don't want to) because I don't have a gameshark, so Ditto and max stats are out of the question anyway.
I will train a Metagross too, just not yet. I only need Regice now, I've battled with it and against it way too many times (RSbot), so I perfectly know what he's capable of.
My Regice is now on Lv.44 and has the following EV's: HP: 88 (training this right now), Att: 0 (obvious),Def: 0 (I'll train this after HP), Spe: 12, SpAtt: 252 (man, that was boring, beating up 126 Numels. :/) and 0 in SpDef (I won't train this stat sinds I have Amnesia). Toxic is for someone else.

.... You can't Breed Regi's anymore than you can Breed legendary Birds/dogs/ubers.
Breeding: [X] {Genderless}
That does NOT mean it can breed with other X's, or Ditto, TidusALLCAPS
Breeding: [A] {Genderless}
This does.
THAT's what Mr. Whitecat says.
Anyway, since the DV's don't matter much [I mean, honestly, few pittle points here or there... unless you're playing sharkers, it makes no dif.], I think go with the standards....
Which I am unable to recall, due to not ever using the Regi's :-(

The standard Regice is:
Regice @Leftovers
~Ice Beam
~Thunderbolt (or Thunder for the 30% Par chance)
~Toxic
~Rest
I use Amnesia instead of Toxic, because Toxic is for my Registeel. he owns most pokemon in Battle Tower with Iron Defense, Amnesia, Toxic and a physical Attack.

Also, if anyone cared, I have Regice Lv.50 with 124 in HP, 120 in Def, 12 in Spe and 252 in SpAtt.
And now I'm busy training a Breloom, because Swellow just couldn't handle it. Spore + Focus Punch = Yay in Battle Tower.
And I also know that Gardevoir owns in the tower, he got me 56 straight wins and got KO-ed only 5 times and then my next Pokemon would KO the last remaining Pokemon. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

Sounds like my Metagross, with 30-31 Attack DV, 212 or so Attack EV (so, like 210 attack stat), with Choice Band Meteor Mash.
Never did give him TM's, so he's Meteor Mash + Psychic.
Oh, and the only way I can beat Shedinja is forcing them to run out of PP... that sucks :-(

OH OK YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE GAMESHARK. IT WAS JUST AN OPTION FOR A WAY TO GET THE PERSONALITY YOU WANTED MAINLY. YOU CAN DO IT YOUR WAY TOO. Did you forgot Brick Break doesn't work on Ghosts?
Edit: I've been breeding a Magikarp as well and I believe he has really nice stats (calculated with Gyarados Lv.22):
HP: 24-28
Att: 23-27
Def: 6-10
Spe: 20-24
SpAtt: 26-29
SpDef: 19-22
Should I continue breeding? Or should I train this one? He has HP Fighting btw.

If 5/6 stats are over 20, I'd be happy. Not to mention the possibilities of 2 or 3 being near 30.
