first thing. how would kangaskhan do0 as an alternate for a ground or rock pokemon? he can learn both rockslide and earthquake, and his speed is much better. and he won't be massacred by waters and grass types.

also, I realize that a pokemon has personal limits in relation to stat increase. but if I enter lv 50 tournaments, I don't have to worry about reaching those limits right? put it this way; is is possible to have a lv 50 parasect with lv 70 stats if the time is put in for using the box trick?

Kangaskhan would make a decent physical sweeper (288 isn't that shabby for an Attack rating), but one of the appeals of using a Ground(/Rock) type is the STAB on Earthquake (/Rock Slide).

Sure, Kangy has a STAB Body Slam, but Earthquake has more type advantages and would be the best attack in RBY if it had a decent side effect.

Box Trick FAQ

Basically, though, each Pokemon has a limit for their L50 stats (found on each Pokedex page) and once you box them to the maximum, they'll be within 16 points of the stat depending on your DVs. You won't have L70 stats at L50, but the stats you do have might be consistent with L52 or L53...
