I used this code on my Mewtwo, and he became Lv. 105, and soon, after a few battles, He was lv. 106. What's with that?

that code's buggy. you can't put in too much experience. if you max out exp and battle, it'll reset to 0 and you'll grow to level 2. if you max exp and box it, the game SHOULD freeze. yours is the first i've seen that doesn't. just don't max the whole thing. 01ff79d1 should be enough to bring any pokémon to level 100, and won't cause any problems with your game (unless d17a and d17b are already full, in which case punch in 01007bd1 to be safe).

You end up at level 0 in pokemon gold. I'm talking about red/blue. I don't know if yellow works.

I already know about the max stats codes. What are you trying to say? Post something along with the URL. I didn't always use the code to get pokemon over level 100. I got a Mew at level 101. My freind traded him to me at level 93. I trained it to level 101.

Zero55555: I'm talking about red/blue.

that's obvious from the codes you posted. g/s doesn't have anything useful (that i can see) in that area of ram. any further explanation on my part would just be repeating my original post, tho.
