Probably a fake rumor. The only way I've heard of to catch Mew is to get an offical one from Nintendo or shark one.

Glitch City isn't "supposed to be" anything. It's just misread data.

I heard that Glitch City are the remnants of Gringe City,which they deleted(mostly) due to time constraints.There was also supposed to be Charmander Mountain,Squirtle Lake,and Bulbasuar Forest.I figure the three places I just mentioned really were conceptulaized because they figured no one would want to trade their starter away.
