White Cat's old domain has been bought out by a porn site, and the link forwards the old URL to it. I recommend that Mr. K update it.

Why would they want http://www.white-cat.net/ ?
Posted by Lark84 (Member # 1186) on 12-24-2003, 11:02 AM:
For the same reason they want fibblesnork.com (former LEGO site, then a porn site, now dead) - it's a domain name which has been used in the past, which means there are links to it on the web, which means the site'll get traffic, which'll generate income from the banner ads.

Yeah, I'm still mad about that. I transferred my domain to a new registrar a month before it would have expired, but the geniuses screwed up and let it expire anyway, and someone else grabbed it.

I'm sorry White Cat, that sucks...
Do you have a new website you're at now?
Posted by White Cat (Member # 42) on 12-26-2003, 04:29 AM:
I guess you don't visit the non-Karp forums much.
And that lazy bum K promised to update the aforementioned pr0n link over half a year ago...

OK, what page is the link on? I've been really busy lately...

The link's on http://www.math.miami.edu/~jam/azure/links.htm -- top lonk of the page.
And apparently I'm visitor #33333 to WC's page, if anyone cares.

Maybe one day I'll fix up the Myths page to say that you really can get Mew (with an appropriate link to White Cat's page).
Plus there's a hex error somewhere on the site, but I've forgotten where now. It has to do with the way hit points are calculated.
Anyway, the Links page has been updated.

So has the "what's new" link!
Construction has slowed here at Azure Heights, but we are continuing to fill in the blanks and are still working on new ideas in Pokémon research. As always, minor changes will not be noted here, but significant content changes will.
As of this time, there are no plans to begin work on Pokémon Gold and Silver research.

This site will stay up for as long as people are getting good use out of it. Many people are still using the data here, so it should be around for some time. There is an ever-so-slim chance that some of the incomplete areas of the site will be fleshed out, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
There are no plans to include information regarding the newer games on this site.
