Theres no real problem that can be resolved here. There are people that claim to be experts and act like experts, however skip answering questions while logged in on that specific thread. That isn't the true problem, the problem lies when these people attack others who answer the questions because these so called pros don't. Probably because they think it is a stupid question or they don't really care. You know how long Andrusus's berry blending question hung up there? Probably from the time I was gone till I came back. Not one person even tried to answer the question. Luckily I knew the answer and even if I didn't id do my best to help the dude out.

Let me use an example. For instance Pika who I once thought was cool never answers any of his emails, answers any of the questions on the board, or his private messages when he is logged into the forum and is probably sitting there reading them. I mean im not talking about a day im talking about weeks and months or maybe never. He does not answer any questions unless someone else comes in and is apart of it.

Now the question is something he should be able to answer because it has to do with his web site. Now that is a good example of what I am talking about.

Like I mentioned in another thread, no one has to answer a question, but when someone who is new decides to and the so called experts decide it sounds stupid they can't complain! POINT MADE!

People do not exist solely to answer questions made of them about Pokemon.

People here *are* experts in Pokemon. GSC and RBY, that is. Most people assume these skills carry over into R/S - well, quite alot of the basics do, but there's also some large fundamental differences.

Also, the forums are far from active. Bitching that people aren't playing R/S and therefore aren't posting on the forums about it is not going to "resolve the real problem" here.

Jeez, Azure hasn't been active since G/S was just out in English. Or when Crystal was out. And even then it wasn't so active.

And R/S got killed before it started, by the lack of activity on GSC and the 202/386 debates.

Wait for the RBY remakes. Some of the way older players may actually care for that, after denying both GSC and R/S on the principle that they were not the game they originally played.

I may still post things here and there, but I really don't expect an answer right away, or at all, from anyone. People talked about Pokemon when they were interested in it, and now there are a lot fewer people here that are, so its only natural that the forum is quieter.

There are a few people that still may want to say something, and thats okay. Honestly, I get most of my info from Hexagonal and Pokefor, and when I come up with an idea that seems interesting I post here, mostly out of nostalgia. I don't get upset if nobody replies.

I've never really been into the online metagame, ever since R/B/Y 95% of my battles are against my 'Real Life' friends, so I've never been as serious or intense about strategy as most of the people here, anyway.

AH is just where I throw ideas around or casual questions. I don't expect lots of activity here or lots of replies.

I can understand your frustration, TIDUSBLITZABESX, but I still don't think that those "experts" that you referred to, complain for the mere fact that you've posted before them. They are quite annoyed at ignorance and mistakes of any kind, and I suppose that they are more hot-tempered online than they really are (I wouldn't know, but it's common).
Myself, I am a little upset that the forum has been reduced to mere asking and answering questions, although some of them may be a little challenging than the rest. I haven't posted many messages before this, so it may seem not in my rights to say- but this forum used to consist of intelligent discussions and remarks, specifically in the GSC forum- even if many people fought. You simply can't find it anywhere else; do people really want to let it go?

Sorry people I went a little overboard I admit. It wasn't answering the questions that bothered me the most it was the fact that when a question was left unanswered If I went help someone, sure enough there would be a person to nail me for it, if they had a disagreement.

The reason i came here was because I knew there were allot of pokemon fans and I could learn about things I wanted to know and probably get to know people in the forum. It kinda didn't work out like that.

Back in the R/B/Y, and G/S/C days the part that was popular was tne "Weird Science" part. My friend was the first to introduce me to the max stat codes. Max Genes and EVs. Actually I got them from Golem Kongs site and in his site he gave a direct link to where he got it from which was here. I think Golem Kong was a member here but not sure. He also directed to this site. Now the dude is gone.

I just think that it takes allot of talent to create Game Shark codes especially for stats. You could never find those codes anywhere else but here or Golem Kongs site. So I guess the major people here are Cfalcon, WhiteCat, and JT toad.

Well any way guys sorry to peeve you all and ill try to keep cool and keep ferustrations with an unstable relationship with this girl out of here. Just made me a bit more sensitive than I wanted to be.

So I hope things can be reset back to normal and start building like you mentioned TGhost. You made a good point and I hope this site doesn't go under.

The only active place on AH is karp park. All the rest is either dead, very unactive or shock filled with shitty threads that no one cares about.

If you want to help people just go somewhere else.

Gimme a break, I haven't quite mastered the mechanics and metagame yet.

No no no your missing the point. I said many times no one has to answer a question, the point I was getting at ahem was that if someone offers to answer a question and someone else doesn't like it too bad. So those people who attack others for giving answers that are wrong or think they are wrong my as well go somewhere else.

So...

giving a wrong answer and not being berated for it is a good thing?

I'm not following you. [Trash Bear]

This thread makes complete and total sense. I absolutely agree with TIDUSBLITZABES, and everything he has to say is nothing but gold in typed form. TIDUS knows everything, and all should worship him.

Now, had this been a correct answer, no one would have a problem. The problem arises because the answer is something that has not had enough testing done, or because some people, to put it simply, are idiots. The correct answer, when performed correctly, has virtually the same results as a proven scientific theory; that is, it always gives the same result. If something is not done properly, be it the original poster's mistake or the current member's, then the answer then becomes null and invalid according to scientific methodology. It then serves that the experiment be redone, with the same set of variables, to verify or nullify the validity of said claim.

Summed up, if you can't understand that not everything happens how the first person says it does, then it's your problem. Summed further, why do you continue to post?

I don't know about you, but I expect quality in Azure posts.

Well, he can post in Karp Park all he wants. It's CAPSMAN posting idiocy where it shouldn't be that gets on my nerves.

No my complaint for the fucking millionth time is when someone avoids answering a question when in fact they are on that specific thread, but decides not to answer it. So the next person that comes along does whatever way they want. Then the person before them who arrogantly passed up the thread before starts nailing the person that posted the answer. If they don't want a bad answer then they better get their asses over there and answer it themselves. So-called Pro Experts Like UIRULOSER and LANDERZDUMBASS. Oh My god I haven't seen dark in decades, You were one of the first ones to attack me when I first started talking in here. Then came in that telephone person. Funny never thought someone would make up such a stupid name that stands for a telephone. How corny.

I'd take my matters to karp but they keep getting deleted errr...

Then maybe take what matters, perhaps?
And, I've explained to you, time and time again, that the only reason I was attacking you (keyword: was, since you've officially gone into my bad books now, along with.... Wow, n/m, you're the first I've directly interacted with; Dubya is in there, too) is because of your answers. And just because people have time to glance over a forum does NOT mean they have time to respond to every question within.

And, besides, doesn't myself, or someone else like 137 or Fluorine or Uiru or Pika, give the right answer when they correct you? Isn't that what you were going for? According to your first post in this thread, it is. However, you seem to change your mind to "People are attacking me!" being the problem, halfway through. Don't post dumb things, and your posts won't be criticized; it's not a hard concept.

And as for "going Hard on him", Pokewaterking, this kid has been doing this for some time, now, and has yet to learn. Dozens upon dozens of times, and he just keeps coming back and doing the same thing. If he was just an ignorant newbie who learned from his mistakes and stupid remarks, it wouldn't be so bad. However, when he comes back and insults the people who give the right answers, or exclaims that the right answers are wrong and his are right (alternate universe what), that's when he ticks people off.

And it happens again, and again, and again...

And then he comes to Karp Park, posting such dribble that even K takes note, and deletes them. It takes a fair amount to force K to delete threads (well, so long as they have some content, they usually stay), so... yeah.

I'm guessing K deletes Tidus's topics because they violate the only rule in Karp Park. If they actually contained useful information or any other redeeming quality, he might allow them to remain.
