You have average damage as 29.8, when its should be about 63.6 (ir around there). Small typo on your part, but since no one uses it anyway, fix it when your done with everything else.

Isn't that because its 2 turn?

I don't know, just guessing...

No, Razor Wind is a two turn move... sure, it does about 60 average damage on the turn it attacks, but it takes two turns to do that damage (the first turn is wasted creating a whirlwind or something), so the average damage is only half of that, leaving Razor Wind with thast horrible average power (Congratulations! In Razor Wind, we've found a move that won't even help a Magikarp!)

Yeah, actually that was the value I just changed.

I'm currently bashing thru the Normal Attacks comparison page and I noticed the problem with Razor Wind.

I knew it sucked, but I couldn't believe it's a two-turn attack where you're totally vulnerable for the first turn and it's weaker than Body Slam when it finally pays off.

Lay-hay-hame!

Anyway, I suppose that's why no one noticed it was wrong before...no one in their right mind uses the thing!

Oh yeah...just noticed something else...it's accuracy is krap as well! Total washout.

Why was Razor Wind even made a move? I believe that to be the worst move in the game, just edging out Bide.

Well, you get Razor Wind very early in the game. Its like a 'if you want to have an attack better then Tackle, take this', even though, technically, it isn't. Really just made ot get suckers.

And bide has a use, just not in link-cable battles... which are the only thing that really matter.... hmm...

What are you talking about? Night Shade's a good attack.

But S. Toss is the exact same thing but with 5 more PP.

Yes, but it's not a totally pointless attack. At least it can't be Countered, while Seismic Toss can.

You could have a tournament-ready Gengar with Night Shade on it.

Razor Wind is just completely horrible...

Yes. Bide does SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! Unless you want that Chansey or Alakazam to DT up for free.

Ummm...we only still have RBY for almost 3 months still. Counter is bad until then. Very bad.

People say Bide sucks because they really don't know how to use it, nor have the PATIENCE to find out, I know of ways to use Bide and it doesn't suck...
Just try to make it work and you'll see I'm right but you have to get into it like I did.

I can't say with certainty that Bide is a good move, but it does generally require a defense oriented monster and a moveset kind of built around it. I'm pretty sure it doesn't suck.

Nightshade is a good attack, and has another advantage in G/S: it can hit ghosts, whereas S.Toss can't.

Though I can't imagine why, you could put both Nightshade AND S.Toss on a Gengar, as well.

In G/S, Night Shade/Seismic Toss are more different, as Night Shade can hit Ghosts and S. Toss can hit normal types... But I still prefer Seismic Toss, due to the grand total of TWO fully evolved ghosts...
