As most people know by now, Pokemon that PokeCol detects as being sharked will be flagged and a message saying "Inadmissable Pokemon cannot be entered!" pops up. Using the almighty cheat calculator written by... uh... *looks at titlebar* xyzman, I did a little experimenting and saw that regular pokes such as Bulbasaur could be sharked and admissable by sharking them as eggs. However, this doesn't work with pokes like Mew and Deoxys, they're still flagged. So my question is, does anyone have the set of criteria the game runs through when checking the pokes, so that we could know what to change?

PokeCol checks the EVs to make sure they're not over the limit, and I believe checks the moves.

As well, Mew and Deoxys have a special "obedience bit" (that's what they call it at the GameFAQs Fire Red board) that must be present for a Mew or Deoxys to be admitted.

NO H4X3D 00BERS 4 U!!

it's more or less speculation, though. Colosseum will be released here (europe *duh*) on Mai 20th I will not be able to tell anything about it before [Frown]

That will be a nice gcnrd session once colosseum is released [Smile]

It doesn't check moves, that I'm sure of. I've got 2 box fulls of sharked movesets from when I was testing for NetBattle Ruby/Sapp. Nothing wrong was found with my Bonemerang-ing Spinda.

There must be a code to flip this obedience bit with a GS/AR... =\

If you catch the cheated Pokemon in the grass, with any of the "catch Wild Pokemon" codes, Colosseum does admit them. Even if you caught them at L100 or in a weird area. I guess if you are the true Original Trainer it helps a lot. Mew and Deoxys are still flagged and inadmissable though, but anyone else including Jirachi, Mewtwo, Celebi, etc, are legal.

Wait, so Mew and Deoxys are the ONLY pokes that have this kind of hack protection? Can I get anyone to confirm that?

confirmed currently refersing the function.
ID 151 and ID410 have a special sub [Smile]

besides that i've only found obvious stuff so far:
-stats higher than the highest possible stat you could have in this situation will not work
-single evs higher than 255 will not work (yeah thats actually possible in pokecol)
-total evs > 510 will not work (surprise surprise)

i still need to reverse quite big parts of this, though oh and in case you don't lkike these checks some AR codes:

Admission Code US
G92R-0KY6-UKA0U
9N3E-FJUB-9JZKC
Admission Code EU
ZF8P-69CK-UFUNG
FQ9T-JJZT-WKQHE
