Well as you already know if you trade your pokemon, when you get it back it hates you. So you have to re-develop it's happiness again. While in battle at the time Return was weak and it did half the damage it did before. So then I equipped the Sooth Bell and went through allot of trainer battles. Return became much more powerful. Powerful enough now to take out Lv. 33 Golems. The Hiker Trainer just before the lift to get to Larvaridge Town. I guess there is only so far that the happiness will go.

Yes, happiness maxes at 255, but Raturn's power maxes out at 102 base power. Just like GSC.

Yeah it was ok though because he was maxed out with the Macho Brace already so then I was all set
