OK, you know how it is impossible to get a fully trained pokemon in the little cup, I figured out that the only way to stat train them would be on level 0 'M' until they are fully trained and 'M' gives 0 exp. (that would take a long time)

Im just not sure if this theory works Can anyone confirm it for me

My understanding was the only way the max out stat exp on L5 was to use the Daycare Center Trick...Raise a poke to the cusp of L6, take it to Daycare, put in in, take it right back out. It loses enough regular exp to go back to the bottom of L5 (the trick?--you don't lose the stat exp...). Then go back to raising it fighting L2 pokes. Once you're about to level up again (to L6), fly back to Daycare and repeat the entry/departure process. Repeat forever...I hope you remember to fully stat drug any poke before you start this--then it will only take half of forever.

I suppose if I had to win the Little Cup to _literally_ save my life, I might do this, but maybe I'd just rather die...The Little Cup is sooooo stupid.

Abra, Scyther, Cubone. That's almost all you need to know to beat the S2 cart...If you feel the need to beat a human opponent in the Little Cup, then, I don't know what to tell you.

The Day Care method works best because at level 5, a Pokémon's stats can raise only 3 points each. Protein, Iron, etc. raise each stat by two points, dso you're only required to train until each stat raises 1 more point afterwards.

The glitch Pokémon (ala MissingNo.) will raise Effort Value/Stat EXP by:
HP: 33 Points
Attack: 136 Points
Defense: 0 Points
Special: 29 Points
Speed: 6 Points

A single Unown raises this:
HP: 48 Points (higher than MissingNo.)
Attack: 72 Points (takes two Unown to match)
Defense: 48 Points (higher than MissingNo.)
Special: 72 Points (higher than MissingNo.)
Speed: 48 Points (high than MissingNo.)

If I rememebr right, Unown will give a non-traded Pokémon 43 EXP. If your Pokémon started out (at level 5) with 100 or 135 EXP, it can battle 1 Unown (if the 43 EXP is correct) before needing to visit the Day Care. If it starts with 125 or 156 EXP, then it can last against two Unowns before needing to be Day Care'd. With PokéRus, you're pretty much guarenteed to get those last stats in under 133 Unowns ^_^

No, CHANSEY-Scyther-Cubone. Have Chansey put up Reflect and Light Screen, pseudopass to Scyther, Swords Dance and Agility, BP to Cubone (with EQ, Rock Slide, and HP Bug). If you can survive that 6-turn setup (which you probably will) then you have GUARANTEED OHKO's on anyone who can possibly enter the Little Cup, unless they have defensive barriers also set up (which CPU trainers don't usually do, except the first one, who still dies incredibly easily to Cubone).

My objective is to beat the Little Cup which has proven to be a difficult endeavor after the second half of the rounds. Now 780 battles with unown and removing their exp by giving it to the daycare man I can handle, however will I see a stat improvement during the process? Or after 780 fights with a lv5 pokemon will they max out?

This thread is 2 YEARS OLD.

You will see a stat improvement while fighting Unowns.

And you probably don't need to fight 780 battles, since using all the vitamins alone pushes a level 5 Pokemon up near the maximum stats they can get anyway - you don't need max stat experience to get max stat at level 5.

ok, i wanted to make a 'babies team' (lvl 5) in RS, the best way would be fighting lvl 2's

Exp Share takes half the exp, switching to all your team will take 1/6 exp, having both will leave 1/12 exp.

having more than one exp share wont help you if your first poke is the baby.

The game first gets the total exp,
If Exp Share -> take half and divide it between Exp Share users.
Divide the rest between pkmn who fought.

Macho Brace doubles Evs, but if your pkmn holds it it will have to fight. So the best way would be, start with baby holding macho brace, switch all your team (so /6) and one of your pkmn must hold exp share (so baby gets 1/12 exp)

that way you would be able to get Evexp but not all the ev exp you could, i mean you can max 2 stats but not all (i dont mean 252 ev, i mean max them at lvl 5)

the daycare doesnt work, it saves your exp...
maybe getting 6 secret hideout trainers(one for each stat) with 6 lvl 5's of the ones that give less exp, fully evolved when possible, to get 4 evs instead 2 (the ones that evolve by stone ie sunkern) would do it... but theres a 1.5 increase on exp when doing that...

is there a way to reduce exp to zero, or at least to 1? and/or reseting exp without using a cheating device?

The daycare trick does work. In GSC.

Put the Pokemon in daycare. Take it out again. There, the Pokemon's experience is now zero again, and the stat experience remains.

I've been told there's a little secret that can be exploited with Pokémon Stadium 2. That's the problem though, I've been told it exists, but haven't been told how to use it. It's supposed to transfer.. better word.. copy the stats of one pokemon onto the other, but not DVs..anyone know how to do it? [Confused]
